  • Will use compute earnings and deductions using different payment methods: salary, hourly, commission, and piecework.                                                                                                                                                                 

  •  Complete Federal and State Income Taxes for single dependents and non-dependents.                                      

  • Compare loans and credit cards – how time and interest rates change interest paid for installment loans                 including:car, college and mortgage loans. Give the advantages and disadvantages to ARM and balloon loan.

  • Give the factors and compute cost for types of insurance including: car, homeowners, disability, health and          Life. Compare the different types of Life Insurance (term, universal, whole, ordinary)                                            

  • Look at the different options on saving Money/Investing money including Mutual funds, IRA, banking               (compare simple interest vs. compound interest).                                                                                                  

  • Money management: including checking/online banking and budgeting.                                                                

  •  Factors and meaning of your Credit Score.
